AUGUSTA – The Maine House of Representatives today voted 147-0 in favor of a bill that would make the life-saving drug naloxone more readily available.
A bill that proposes spending $1.5 million to ramp up the war on drugs will do more harm than good, according to the ACLU of Maine.
UPDATE: The Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety will hold a public hearing on the bill, LD 1811, on Monday, March 17.
