Next week I will travel to Washington DC to rally for women's health.  Will you join me?  Congress is proposing to defund family planning and Planned Parenthood -- eliminating coverage for contraception and basic health services for hundreds of thousands of women.  Congress is proposing to tax individuals and businesses who choose insurance plans that cover abortion.  Congress wants to allow hospitals to deny women emergency abortions, even in cases where the abortion is necessary to save the woman's life.  Angry yet?  I am.

It's time to take a stand for women's health.  Join me in Washington next week for meetings with our Congressional delegation and a Rally to Stand Up for Women's Health.  Can't make it to Washington?  Send an email to Congress here.  Then, come to Augusta for a state capitol lobby day with our allies at Planned Parenthood for a lobby day in Augusta on April 7.  To sign up for the Washington DC rally, contact us at info@mclu.org.  Or meet us in Washington!  The rally will begin at 11:30 am on the National Mall in front of the Capitol Building Reflecting Pool between 3rd and 4th Streets, SW. The ACLU meet up spot will be on the southeast corner of Madison Drive NW and 4th Street NW in front of the East Building of the National Gallery.
