I was so proud to see so many people come out on a rainy night in Lewiston to share their passion about voting.  As many of them pointed out, Maine is a leader nationwide in voter turnout and we have some of the most effective laws and to facilitate qualified voters casting their ballot. 

As this Sun Journal article points out, the vast majority of those who spoke advocated for even more access and ease for voters.

There is still time!  Use your voice to defend voting rights in Maine at one of the remaining public hearings around the state or by submitting comments directly to the Commission to Study the Conduct of Elections in Maine.
