Yesterday's Los Angeles Times reports that Attorney General Eric Holder is "poised to appoint a criminal prosecutor to investigate alleged CIA abuses..."

If this is true, it's welcome news for human rights advocates. The ACLU has created a "tortured logic" web feature that allows you to send video and copies of the torture memos to Mr. Holder's office to encourage him to appoint a criminal prosecutor.
Torture is a crime.
This is not to say that Congress should not form a Select Committee to investigate torture as well. The ACLU website points out that all three branches of government must be involved to restore the rule of law.
