If you called your Senator or Representative to tell them to stand up for reproductive freedom and for the rights of transgendered Mainers, please pat yourself on the back. Today, the Senate rejected bills aimed at limiting choice and removing protections for transgendered Mainers.
Of course, it's a shame that Maine still has to fight these battles but it's a good reminder that no civil liberties issue ever stays won.
