The ACLU announced the creation of a Facebook application that allows users to take action directly from the app. If you're a Facebook user, simply go to this link: http://apps.facebook.com/aclu-advocacy/ and "like" the page. Once you are a fan, you will receive updates of ways to take action in your newsfeed.
Given how busy life is, I find small reminders through Facebook are an easy way to know when to make calls, send emails, or send checks. I hope you'll become a fan!.
Caveat: Facebook has some questionable privacy practices. Make sure you know the full scoop before your privacy is put at risk.
