Sara joined the ACLU of Maine’s Board of Directors in 2023 and serves on the Finance Committee. Sara was attracted to join the board to help in the fight to keep the Maine and U.S. Constitutions front and center in our day-to-day lives.
Sara has been working in and around Wall Street for 40 years, with the last 22 years building Spinnaker Trust in Portland. Helping to build a firm from 5 people to over 40 employees has been exciting and rewarding. Sara works with families in Maine and throughout the country to helo them reach their financial goals
Outside of work, Sara volunteers her professional expertise and time to a variety of organizations that support Maine families, women’s health and wellness, and local communities. In addition to the ACLU of Maine, she volunteers on the Investment Committee for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and with Scarborough Land Trust.
Sara lives to South Portland and Frye Island with her wife and two dogs.
