Andrew joined the ACLU of Maine in March 2024 as a communications and engagement intern. He is a senior at Bowdoin College studying Government and Visual Arts, and has a background in political organizing.

Earlier, Andrew worked at the Drug Policy Alliance, where he fought against the failed War on Drugs at the federal level. His time with the DPA culminated in the publication of an op-ed analyzing emerging drug legislation for general audiences. In 2022, Andrew ran for the Maine House of Representatives to encourage local politicians to adopt progressive policies into their agendas and bring those issues into the conversation. Using his campaign as a platform for social advocacy, Andrew raised thousands of dollars in support of harm-reduction drug policy, housing accessibility, and ending mass incarceration.

Beyond work experience, Andrew has served as the student body vice president of Bowdoin College, organized district-wide political demonstrations, and graduated from three political leadership fellowships. He spends his free time painting and discovering new music.
