We're suing the Trump administration for trying to end birthright citizenship, a core American principle that is outlined in the plain language of the 14th Amendment. The case was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court on April 1, 2026. A decision is expected in June or July.

Jenkins et al v. Lynch et al
The ACLU and Planned Parenthood filed suit challenging a provision in Maine law that requires that abortions be performed solely by physicians and blocks qualified advanced practice clinicians (APCs) from doing so, despite their rigorous post-graduate training and extensive clinical experience.
