2025 Legislative Session

The 132nd Legislature started the legislative session on December 4, 2024, and is expected to run through the spring of 2025. We are in Augusta every week, working with lawmakers and ally organizations to protect and defend the civil rights and liberties of all people in Maine.

Many bills have printed and are moving through the legislature, but lawmakers are still developing new bills. We are evaluating how each may affect Mainers' civil rights and liberties.

This page has some of our top priorities, but we are still adding more. Check back regularly for the latest information.
