Take Action to Protect Your Privacy

Last year, the U.S. Congress voted to dismantle online privacy protections. Now, the Maine legislature has an opportunity to step up and undo the damage.

LD 1610 will put privacy protections back in place by requiring Maine internet providers to get your permission before selling your private information. Legistors need to hear from you to vote YES on LD 1610.

Internet providers have access to some of our most personal information including browsing history, location history and contacts. We, the consumers, should have a say over whether our internet provider can make money by selling this information to other companies. Contact your legislators today.
