After
spending the day talking to students about their constitutional rights, it’s
heartening to hear this
call for upholding First Amendment rights. Two educators from Nokomis High School
appeared in commercials regarding Question 1 on either side. Thankfully, their principal has
respected both educators right to free speech. Hopefully the fruitful debate will result
in more voters decidedly voting to uphold marriage equality in Maine on November
