Yesterday, ACLU of MAINE Public Policy Counsel Alysia Melnick organized and attended a great press conference and hearing on medical marijuana. The ACLU of MAINE is working hard to fix Maine's medical marijuana law so that patients can continue care with as little government interference as possible. Last year, the legislature passed a law requiring medical marijuana patients to submit identifying information to a government database. Sounds like a privacy risk to us.
