The ACLU of MAINE is busier than we've been in a long time in Augusta. We're defending voting rights, reproductive rights, free speech, immigrants' rights and more. We're monitoring over 250 bills and counting. That's why we're launching a new legislative blog. You can see the blog feed on the left-hand side of our home page, or go straight to the legislative blog here. Alysia (our lobbyist) and I will update the legislative blog daily with quick links to hearing and work session times. We'll also post our testimony on issues of concern as well as links to ACLU of MAINE action alerts, so you can read about an issue and then e-mail your legislator.
