Angelina joined the ACLU of Maine in September 2026 as an immigrant rights fellow. She's excited to continue her work in advocating and expanding protections for immigrants' rights.
Prior to joining the ACLU of Maine, Angelina worked on immigration cases and appeals with the ACLU of New Hampshire and the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project. She also served as a student attorney in Cornell Law School's Asylum and Convention Against Torture Clinic, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Clinic, and 1L Immigration Law and Advocacy Clinic.
Angelina received her J.D. cum laude from Cornell Law School, where she served as an executive editor of the Cornell Law Review and president of the mock trial program. She received the Gould Prize for Public Interest Law, the Kasowitz Prize for Excellence in Legal Writing and Oral Advocacy, and the Clinical Legal Education Association’s Outstanding Clinic Team Award for work on a novel asylum bar case, as well as awards for her performance in various classes and oral advocacy competitions.
Angelina received her B.A. in English and Communication Studies summa cum laude from Northeastern University, with a minor in Rhetoric. She served as President of Northeastern’s mock trial program for three years and continues to judge collegiate mock trial competitions whenever she can.
Outside of work, Angelina enjoys hosting board game get-togethers that run late into the night, hiking in the mountains, and laughing with friends. She hopes to eventually visit all 50 states and as many national parks as possible.
