Bio
Rebecca Asen joined the ACLU of Maine’s Board of Directors in fall 2025.
She previously spent more than a decade practicing as a securities lawyer at a major international law firm and several public companies, concentrating on capital markets transactions and corporate governance. In recent years, she shifted her focus to attorney recruitment and retention. In 2024, she co-founded AP Talent Partners, a talent acquisition and management firm that collaborates with law firms and companies to support strategic growth.
Rebecca graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College in 2006 and cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2011. She is also a certified Pilates instructor.
She is honored to join the ACLU of Maine’s board at a moment in American history that underscores the importance of safeguarding civil liberties.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children, cheering on her kids’ athletic pursuits, and practicing Pilates.
