Last week, over 400 Mainers took action against bills that would ban trans girls from playing school sports. Now, we have one more ask.
On Thursday, May 8th, Maine legislators will hold a public hearing. You can submit testimony – either in person, in writing online, or over Zoom.

We need as many voices as possible on these bills (LDs 1134, 868, 233, 1137, 1432, and 380). These harmful proposals would violate the Maine Human Rights Act, expose girls' bodies to invasive scrutiny, and include additional attacks on trans rights – which we know has been the goal all along
We’re asking supporters to submit testimony to lawmakers. You can simply submit it online, or you can share it during the meeting either over Zoom or in person at the State House.
If you haven't already, add your name urging lawmakers to oppose these bills.
Let’s show lawmakers that Maine still values inclusion, freedom, privacy, and bodily autonomy. Every child deserves to show up as their full self – on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
