Beyond Comfort Deborah Archer Event

Join us for a conversation with the ACLU's national board president for a talk on her recent book, Dividing Lines: How Transportation Infrastructure Reinforces Racial Inequality.

Deborah Archer is an eminent legal scholar and the national board president for the American Civil Liberties Union. In her book, Dividing Lines: How Transportation Infrastructure Reinforces Racial Inequality, Archer offers a critical examination of how transportation infrastructure -- from highways and roads to sidewalks and buses -- has been used to protect segregation and deepen racial inequality after the fall of Jim Crow.

Join us at Mechanics' Hall for a author talk with Deborah Archer and a panel discussion exploring the intersections of urban planning, law, and social justice.
