Earlier today, Judge Robert Simpson in Pennsylvania issued a partial preliminary injunction that allows people to vote without an ID and without using a provisional ballot. The ACLU of Pennsylvania and partners filed suit on behalf of clients like Viviette Applewhite, who had difficulty replacing IDs after her pocketbook was stolen. Thanks to the Judge’s ruling, she’ll be able to continue voting as she’s done in every election since Kennedy.
