Danny Greenberg is Special Counsel for Pro Bono Initiatives at Schulte Roth & Zabel, a position he designed to provide legal assistance to the poor by strategic partnerships with targeted international, national and local organizations. For the last seven years he has collaborated with our colleagues at the New York Civil Liberties Union in an historic indigent defense case, Hurrell-Harring v. New York, a recently settled class-action that alleged denial of counsel in five counties in upstate New York. He was also counsel in McWaters v.
