We filed a new First Amendment case yesterday.  Our client, Dennis Bailey, was fined by the Ethics Commission because he did not identify himself as the author of a blog he created during last year's gubernatorial campaign.  We think that individuals should have the right to publish anonymously or under a pseudonym, and we believe that blogs should be entitled to as much freedom of the press as newspapers and television stations (we know you feel the same way about blogs--you're reading one right now).

You can hear a radio story about the case here, or read a newspaper article about it here or here.

You can read our complaint here.
